Notes to Me

i usually keep my NLT bible in the box that it came with and i hav the habit of keeping stuff in that box. There are encouragement cards, bookmarks, notes, all kinds. Some of the notes are written by me, some by others. Anything which i think will help me along in my journey and that is small enough, i keep in that box.

It should come as no surprise that the box is overflowing. So i hav to tidy it.

Today i found notes written to me by other pple. Presumably it was during some CG/LG activity where pple were asked to write 2 strengths and 1 weakness about other pple (cos i found several notes and they all had 3 things in them abt me =) Unfortunately i hav no idea who wrote which one. Let me know if it's u.

Note #1
1) You can be a great team player who will lead your impact team to achieve greater things for God. Just as how Jonathan and his armour bearer gained victory after victory when they fought together in 1 Sam 14:6-7. Testimonies & growth in the lives of people will be achieved because God has worked thru you.
2) Your strength lies in your influence. Your action & speech carries weight. People look to you and see leadership in your character.
3) The temptation of wanting things to be done your way can be a great hindrance in what God can achieve in your group. When you humble urself and grow in your own walk with God, naturally people will desire God around you.

Note #2
1) High-ranking Navy officer (hohoho! - not true)
2) Lead by example. Thinks rationally. Strong sense of responsibility.
3) Fitness ?
(presumably this is the weakness =)

Note #3
1) Powerful man who want to influence the people around you. You will be the person who many people will be looking up to.
2) You have the strength to focus on objectives and knowing what are the objectives let you be more clear on how to achieve that.
3) Too objective minded will miss out certain areas such as feelings, as a family in church we sometimes need to be sensitive to the people around and under us. So that we can win them over.

All i can say is: the weaknesses are definitely more true than the strengths. =]

Looks like there's much to fight.
